Style Days of Christmas have become something of a holiday tradition here at Style Blog, and while these annual giveaways are a ton of work to organize and run, it brings me lots of pleasure to give something back to my readers and to be able to partner up with my fave brands, season after season. You Are Invited: Queen’s Plate 2015

As someone who loves a good reason to dress up, I can’t wait to attend this year’s Queen’s Plate in Toronto. The Queen’s Plate is Canada’s oldest thoroughbred horse race as well as the oldest continuously run race in North America. This year’s race is the 156th in Queen’s Plate history, and it promises to be an uber-glam day full of fancy fascinators, high-fashion, and beautiful horses. I’ve never attended one, but I’m super excited to take part in this elegant and time-honoured tradition, one that actual Kings and Queens have enjoyed over the years.

If you ask me, there aren’t enough occasions that call for a fancy hat (or fascinator), and it’s a shame!
