In my humble opinion, this is how the florals should be worn! Not too girly and not too over the top. Love the way Celeste paired her cute floral mini with a more serious fitted black button down and a matching skinny black belt. She avoided being too matchy-matchy by carrying a camel-colored leather bag. What a great outfit for an almost-summer day!
H&M is having a summer sale!
I don’t know about you, but I think David Beckham is overrated. He might be a good football player, but lookswise he’s just ok. Actually, I don’t find him attractive at all. Way too feminine for my tastes, plus he sounds like Mickey Mouse. So why am I posting this? Because my friend Jo might need a little perk during her study weekend and I’m thoughful like that.
Beckham is still the “face” of Giorgio Armani underwear. And this time, his body, along with the undies he’s promoting, are plastered on top of a 50ft poster that covers a huge section of the Selfridges building in London. Apparently there were lineups, screaming, shouting, and crying at the unveiling.
Enjoy, and don’t forget to wipe off the drool!

I love that Karl picked Russian model Sacha Pivovarova to be the face of the 2009 Paris-Moscow Pre Fall collection. Love the setting, love the photography, love Chanel!
Is she posing next to Pont Alexandre III? Will be there in 1 week! So excited!

She’s only 19, yet she already has a Burberry campaign by Mario Testino under her belt. Emma Watson’s red carpet choices in the past couple of years never failed to inspire, and unlike some of her peers this Brit always dresses age-appropriate and never tacky *cough* Heather Graham *cough*.
Most know her as Hermione of the Harry Potter franchise, but in this campaign, she’s looking much more grown up, stylish and somber. Great choice, Burberry!

Ok, so how do you know when your style has become predictable? For one, it’s when your friends instantaneously think of you when they see an item that looks like something you already own and know that you are going to love it. Instead of thinking that you already own a similar thing, you run to the store and buy it!
I’d already confessed my love for dresses, I love them and wear them religiously. Other 2 things that I adore are red hearts and stripes. Stripes are probably more dangerous than the hearts, because surprisingly there aren’t many designers that go for the heart pattern in their clothing (Marc Jacobs did go there last season, but it was way too expensive). Striped shirts though, are everywhere. Wearing a white tee with black/navy stripes reminds me of Coco Chanel and evokes the effortless chic-ness that she exuded. As cliché as it is, I always bring a striped shirt to Paris every time I go and can never resist buying yet another one to add to my ever-growing collection.
My summer uniform consists of a multitude of dresses, sandals, flats, and cardigans. Boring, I know! But once the mercury starts to rise, it’s easy to come up with various excuses to wear yet another dress. For one, they are super easy – one piece, no thinking/effort required, 5 minutes and I’m out the door. Dresses are also a great way to show off your tanned legs, or get those ghost-like stems tanned. Dresses are girly, yet sexy, and are so nice and breezy to wear. I love dresses!
Marie Claire is really on fire this month! This time it’s the UK issue giving us Bruno’s guide to fashion. Below are my favorites:
C is for… CHINESE. Zere’s like over 500 billion of zem, yet zey don’t have one single model amongst them – vy is zat?
D is for… DESIGNERS. Fashion is ze most important und lifesaving of all ze sciences. Vood World War II ever have started if zere’d been a Berlin Fashion Veek in 1939? Ich don’t think so.
E is for… EIGHTY. About ze right number of hats to pack for a veekend avay.
O is for… ORLANDO BLOOM . He’s basically obsessed mit me. I don’t vant to use ze word stalker, but ven ich vas at Milan Fashion Veek I stayed at ze Hotel Malecci. Guess who checked in to ze same hotel two hours later… Orlando Bloom. Coincidence? Ich don’t think so.

Ever since “There’s something about Mary”, Cameron Diaz has been a permanent fixture on my fave actresses list. She became a full-blown girl crush after I watched her do the cutest backwards bootie dance in her Spiderman undies in “Charlie’s Angels”…Our shared love for silly underwear, coupled with my affinity for turquoise jewelry, which Cameron also seems to wear a lot, along with boundless positive energy that seems to radiate from her smile, I always felt that we would become insta-friends if we’d ever met. Although I’d probably geek out and ask her for a photo…just like with Gael Garcia…Not cool at all!
Judging from the looks of the few pictures released by H&M, the Fall/Winter 2010 Divided Collection looks very promising! Dark, edgy, and exaggerated…many of the high fashion runway looks were recreated and made wearable (or semi wearable). Studs, broad shoulders, sequins, leather accessories, leather jackets, leather leotards (!) – it’s all there! And it all looks ridiculously amazing!!!
Below are a few items that are now on my Fall/Winter wish list. I do hope that they show up in Toronto stores. Crossing my fingers till late August!
