A lot of you have emailed/tweeted asking about my must-have pieces for fall, and while my own wishlist is coming soon, I asked some of my favorite Canadian fashion insiders to share their fall picks with you! Read all about them below, and take note!
More after the jump!
Randi Bergman – Online Editor (FASHION Magazine)
“I’m really excited about the Dutch Masters-inspired tapestry Carven skirt I ordered off Moda Operandi. I don’t think there could be a more literal translation of wearable art. It’s a pretty typical silhouette for me and since I love tucking anything in, I’ll be doing it with many (many) collared tops.”
Kristy Petra – Blogger (Monochromachic)
Anita Clarke – Blogger (I Want – I Got)
“This fall I finally want to get my hands on a Maryam Keyhani necklace. Luckily, I wear strange things to work so I can mix a Maryam Keyhani necklace into my corporate and fashion blogging lives. The Maryam Keyhani necklace requires a bit of elegance. I’d pair classic, minimal looks so that the necklace would be the focal point of the look. I definitely wouldn’t mix it with any casual outfits ever.”
Jen Tam – Blogger (Her Waise Choice)
“I’m really looking forward to adding some autumn-appropriate printed and textured pieces to my wardrobe this fall. In particular, I’m hoping to invest in a good pair of trousers with a print that can stand the test of time! I’m a lover of print mixing, so I would definitely have fun finding pieces in my existing wardrobe to style with the pants. They would also be a great statement piece on their own with classics like a simple silk blouse, for situations where a more demure look is needed. The possibilities are endless with the right pair!”
Stefania Yarhi – Photographer and Blogger (Textstyles)
“ACNE chartreuse lamb skin moto jacket. I would wear it every day. With jeans, heels, flats, dress, skirt, button up, tank. Anything, everything would go with it.”
Marta Tryshak – Blogger (With Love Gabrielle)
“Fall for me fall is always about cashmere. So, my mush-have fall piece is a pretty cashmere sweater or cardigan. (I would wear it) in every way possible! Over a pair of jeans, with a leather skirt or underneath a fur vest. Cashmere is a life-saver for Canadian fall and winter.”
