When I was approached to participate in a VISA Everyday Shopper Program, I jumped right in. After all, I already have a rewards card, and I’m definitely no stranger to collecting those sweet, sweet reward points to get the things I want. It’s so easy! So starting today, I will blog and tweet about my daily buys for the next 5 working days! And at the end of it all…I will share how much closer I am to getting that coveted HP Envy Notebook (100,000 points).
So welcome to Day 1 of VISA Everyday Shopper Program. What did I buy? Drumroll, please:
Vitamin Water – $3.25 New York Fries – $3.68 Dinner at Sushi Inn – $13.38 Post Office Fees (for my new FUJI Instax Cam!!!) – $28.24 All for a grand total of…$48.55Hope you weren’t expecting my purchases to be super exciting today…because they kinda weren’t. But I guess that’s the thing with daily spending – sometimes it’s the most mundane and random stuff, but rewards will keep on ticking regardless of whether you spent your money on a glazed donut (mmm…donuts!), or a Birkin. Though granted, you’ll get a lot more rewards if you buy a Birkin. But then again, why the heck are you even collecting reward points if you can afford a Birkin, amirite?
But I digress. One day down, four more to go. What will I buy tomorrow, and how many points will I earn, and what’s in it for you? Stay tuned to find out! And follow me on Twitter, as I’ll be tweeting about the program using hashtag #visaeveryday!
