SATC2 Style: Carrie and Samantha…SPOILER!

sjp

First off, we have Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie in this green vintage-looking mini dress, looking…tired, with funny-weird hairdo going on. Hopefully, that’s before hair and makeup. On the positive side…her shoes are H.O.T. Ahh…to have the shoe wardrobe of Carrie Bradshaw = A Dream!

Anyway, moving on to Samantha. Samantha is wearing…something quite unusual…for Samantha Jones. It’s a major plot spoiler, so make sure that you want to know before you click! Don’t tell me I didn’t warn you!

SATC2 SPOILER after the jump!

SATC2 Style: Carrie and Charlotte in the 80s

Wow. We’ve already seen Samantha’s wild child look, as well as Carrie’s super curly do. Well, now we have Carrie as Madonna and Charlotte channeling Jackie O. Hmm, seems to me that the story relies heavily on the 80s flashbacks. And considering that the Sex and the City ladies aren’t getting any younger, I am very curious to see if they can pull it off without looking…well, old. I guess we’ll see when the movie comes out.

She was rocking that tutu even in the 80s!

SATC2 Style: More Shoes, Please!

satc8

I don’t know why, but every time I see new photos of Sarah Jessica Parker and the gang filming SATC2 scenes, my heart leaps a little. It’s definitely part nostalgia, but mostly…it’s the accessories! More specifically – the shoes. Pat Field has this amazing ability to make clothes (and characters) come to life by pairing them with appropriate shoes/bags, etc. Love her styling choices so much!

Don’t you just love that they re-used Carrie’s Dior newspaper dress from Season 3 (very fitting to recycle it in this economy)! I guess it can be considered vintage now? So far the only outfit that I actually hate is Charlotte’s pink “power-suit”. It reeks of Businesswoman Barbie to me. Can’t wait to see more Carrie outfits…More shoes please!

SATC2 Style: Carrie or Sarah?

sjp

Now that SJP is in full Sex and the City mode, pictures of her are all over the place (hence you’ll be seeing her a lot on this blog too!). She was seen leaving her NYC home today, wearing Ann Demeulemeester lace-up sandals. She’s clearly not in costume, yet she doesn’t usually dress too trendy when she’s not shooting. Getting into character perhaps? Anyway, love her shoes, love the bun, love Carrie! Can’t wait to see the movie! Girls’ Night Out! Yay!

SATC2 Style: SJP And The City

sjp

I don’t care if she’s getting older, don’t care that the first movie didn’t live up to its hype, don’t care if the storyline is going to be tired or forced. Do not care. Because Carrie Bradshaw is awesome. Because I love Sex and the City (always have and always will). And because any chance to see the stylish (thanks to Pat Field) foursome together again (with a dash of Mr. Big, Steve, Stanford and hopefully Aidan) is a chance I would never pass up. The only thing is…Miley Cyrus was filming scenes for the movie. Miley-pole-dancing-annoying-Cyrus! Blasphemy!

I don’t have high expectations for this movie, but I am still waiting with “bated breath”…Remember which episode this line’s from? Oh, memories! What about you? Are you excited about the movie or are you over it?
