When I was asked to style this Banana Republic skirt to take me from desk to dinner, I obviously said yes! Pleated and orange, this skirt is a super versatile combo of the two of my most favorite things!
And this outfit might just become my fave this fall – crewneck sweater cinched at the waist over a flowy skirt. Appropriate for work, cute enough for dinner and drinks, and super easy to throw together! It’s a winner in my books.
If you had to style this skirt, how would you wear it? Share in the comments!

Received these cute (and super comfy) Mavi Floral Red Jeans in the mail last week…I guess the news of my crazy pants addiction travel fast, huh? Well, if that means more
crazy fun pants added to my wardrobe, than I don’t mind it one bit.
Don’t be fooled by this outfit…last weekend (when I wore it) wasn’t really warm enough for bare arms yet, but it sure was warm enough for some photos with my jacket off. This weekend however…oh, this weekend, I am baring my arms and legs…for realsies! Unless the weather people lied again, which they have been known to do…in which case, you’ll be spared from seeing my neon WHITE skin. Positive thinking, people! It’s a thing.
Speaking of my ghastly complexion…Should I try one of those spray tan booths before my wedding? I don’t want to end up like Anne Hathaway’s character in that horrid Bride Wars movie…but I also don’t want to look like this either…What to do, folks? If you have any tan-related advice…or crazy pants suggestions…please let me know!
I Wore: Shirt – H&M; Jeans – c/o Mavi; Bag – Prada; Shoes – Zara; Bracelets – FAA H&M; Necklace – Forever 21; Sunglasses – Ray Ban

This is what I wore this Saturday to IKEA. Colorful pants, colorful top, and a red coat to top it off. Might be a bit too much for some, but I’ve never been one to shy away from of a
little lot of color.
How was your weekend?

You know, funny thing happened as I got older (and presumably, wiser) – I learned that sometimes, it makes sense to dress sensibly. I no longer NEED to wear the highest of heels during the winter months (I’m not in Texas anymore). I have learned (from many mistakes) that leather boots get ruined after just one season of salty slush, while simultaneously failing to provide any kind of warmth – especially, once said salty slush has somehow eaten away at the leather, letting the freezing water sneak its way into my socks. Thanks, but no thanks.
So last winter, I stuck to my Cougar rain boots all winter long. That’s right rubber boots in the winter. It’s true – they aren’t the warmest. But throw in a pair of wool socks, and you’ve got a pair of waterproof winterized boots! This winter, I am planning to wear rain boots a lot, so I figured I should get a dressier pair…and then…
…I saw them. Mel rain boots. Cute as a can be, ankle-length, and comfy to boot! Perfect with dresses, skinny jeans…pretty much anything, really. I don’t ever want to take these off…well, except for when I sleep…maybe.
What about you? What’s your go-to cold weather footwear? Share in the comments.

How amazing was the weather this weekend? It’s middle of November, and I didn’t have to wear a coat! It just doesn’t get much better than this…in Toronto.
On top of enjoying the sunshine, I spent some time with my
girlfriends bridesmaids, going over wedding details, watching Bridesmaids, and eating cheesecake. Best weekend ever? I think so!
How was yours?

This is the final LGFW outfit, which I probably should’ve blogged weeks ago, but I didn’t. It was one of those days when I had to wear something work-appropriate, since I had to run to the tents right after work – et voila!
This Moon Apparel dress has been getting quite a lot of action lately – in print, and online, and I too can attest to its wearability, and general awesomeness. Hands down, my favorite work dress ever. Also, for the very first time on the blog – my precious Alberto Guardiani lipstick pumps. So cute…and yet…so uncomfortable! They even hurt my feet while I was SITTING DOWN! Ouch! For now, I’ll chalk that up to having to break them in still…Plus, what’s a
lot little bit of pain, when the shoes are that cute! Right? Right???
As for LGFW…more reviews are coming soon! Stay tuned.
I Wore: Coat – c/o Old Navy; Dress – Moon; Belt, Tights – H&M; Shoes – Alberto Guardiani; Clutch – Prada; Sunglasses – Ray Ban

I loved every minute of this Thanksgiving weekend! Sunshine, ice-cream, patio-ing, strolling the streets of Kensington market, wearing shades, dress and sandals…in OCTOBER! So many things to be thankful for. I couldn’t believe my luck, but I could definitely get used to this. 99H9F4K4GMKK

Have you been to Old Navy lately? I am really loving their fall offerings! From breezy $18 tops, to flared jeans for all of $25, I think if it wasn’t for my Proenza booties, this outfit could actually be purchased for less than $50! Not bad, huh?
Right now, I am waiting for a leopard print Old Navy coat to go on sale (I have a wedding budget to adhere to!)…and then my leopard print-ness will literally drive le boyfriend crazy. As the saying goes: you can take a Russian girl out of
Russia Kyrgyzstan, but you can’t take the leopard print away from her…or something like that.
I Wore: Shirt, Jeans – Old Navy; Bag – c/o Banana Republic; Belt – Zara; Boots – Proenza Schouler; Leather Bracelet – c/o Danier; Sunglasses – Ray Ban

Last week was an awesome week! Why? I got a box with a pair of these beauties from Stuart Weitzman in the mail! Best-looking lace-up ankle booties I’ve seen in a loooong while! A combination of calf hair and multi-textured leather had me sold at first sight. Plus, le boyfriend loves them too…and that doesn’t happen too often!
And though I’m still gutted that summer is over…these babies will certainly make fall more enjoyable.
