Style Fille: Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen

Absolutely love that leopard wrap/shrug that Mary-Kate is rocking! Also love her rings, bracelets, hair, makeup, and the “prune” smirk. She doesn’t care if you hate it, and why should she? Ashley’s lacey bodysuit also caught my eye…wonder if I could pull that off?

Love them or hate them, the Olsens always bring something new and different to the fashion plate…and for that, I love their style!

Friday Faux Pas: Standing Room

So the latest ”scandal” around the blogosphere is that Ashley Olsen did not get up to give Tommy Hilfiger a standing ovation at the end of his NYFW Fall 2010 show. She did get up eventually, but only after Penn Badgley’s prodding and pulling. So this week’s question is this: assuming that she really did not get up to clap for Hilfiger (as opposed to having a delayed reaction), is that a front row faux pas? Or is everyone entitled to sit and stand as they please?

Elizabeth and James Lookbook Spring 2010

elizabeth and james

Hot on the heels of The Row lookbook, comes Elizabeth and James Spring 2010. And this one, I definitely like much, MUCH better! Nothing new in terms of silhouettes, but nevertheless love the pretty dresses, the more serious separates, and the shoes! Are those shoes Elizabeth and James also? Again, nothing new, but still my heart flutters! It’s not even snowing in Toronto, and I am already thinking about my spring wardrobe. What is wrong with me???

The Row Spring 2010 Lookbook

the-row-spring-2010-9

The economy is still shaky, and it appears that the Olsen twins are very cognisant of it. Why else would they include painted on tees and socks as part of their The Row lookbook? And it makes sense, doesn’t it? Low on cash? No problem, just paint that shirt with some body paint/mud/markers and you’re good to go!

Love the red leather pencil skirt, but not craving anything else really. Though with different styling a lot of the basic pieces below will surely look much more appealing. Just not with mud and straw. Not for me.
