What I Wore: Boyfriend Jeans

Summer was here for a minute, and now the cooler temperatures are here to stay for a bit…or at least that’s what the unreliable weatherpeople tell us. So last week, as the last hurrah, I tried to wear as many summery outfits as possible, including a pair of my trusty boyfriend jeans. They are probably the most comfy pair I own…and I love wearing them both to bum around the house, and out to dinner. They are so versatile! I also threw on my new mint-colored tee from Zara to add a pop of pastels to my outfit. It’s not for everyone, but I think I kinda like it.

Wishlist: Ben-Amun

I am officially obsessed with Ben-Amun Jewelry by Isaac Manevitz! Obsessed. Was staring at the coin necklace for a few days, when I finally decided that I “needed” it in my life. Yup…needed that Ben-Amun gold chain coin necklace. It’s a necessity, you see? Not surprisingly, I’m also in love with the rest of his gorgeous vintage-inspired baubles, from the chain + crystal bracelet (which would actually be quite perfect for my wedding), the star & spikes mixed chain bracelet and necklace, lucite cuffs, and so much more. Seriously, Ben-Amun, where have you been all my life?

Am I late to the Ben-Amun party? Have you known about the brand waaaay before me? Share your fave pieces in the comments.

What I Wore: The Wall

Don’t you just love it when you stumble upon something by accident, and it ends up being exactly what you were looking for? Last weekend, while “helping” le boyfriend pick up his brand new table, I spotted an awesome wall of graffiti – and of course, had to have my pictures taken in front of it!

If you’ve been paying attention to Fall 2011 runway shows, you might’ve noticed an abundance of spots and dots all over the place. For that reason, I dug out some of my dotted H&M tights and rocked them till I had frostbite on my butt. Ok, maybe not frostbite…but thin tights + cold weather does not a good combination make. Oh, the things we do for fashion!

So, do you have a favorite Fall 2011 trend yet? Or are you too busy planning out your spring wardrobe to even care about fall? Let me know in the comments!

I Wore: Top – Mango, Skirt, Earrings - Forever21; Tights, Sunglasses – H&M; Thigh-highs – American Apparel; Clutch – Winners; Boots – Proenza Schouler (The Room); Ring – Max and Chloe

What I Wore: Camel, Beige, and Brown

Last time I went shopping at H&M, their Spring 2011 collection just hit the stores, and I found myself wanting it all. There were frothy dresses, lacey shorts, and lots and lots of other amazingness. I ended up buying everything in camel, beige, and brown…and here’s the result. I’m still waiting for the brown pleather lace-up shorts…if you see them in stores, please give me a shout. I know it’s not short-wearing weather just yet (in case the snow isn’t tip-off enough), but one can only hope, right? Hope you’re having a great week!

I Wore: Sweater, Pants, Belt, Black/Gold Ring, Sunglasses - H&M; Turquoise Ring – YSL; Bow Ring – Max and Chloe; Earrings – Forever21; Boots – Proenza Schouler (The Room)
