Chanel Clogs?

I couldn’t wait until Friday for this one! At least in my opinion, Chanel Clogs from the fashion house’s Spring 2010 show are just plain ugly and definitely constitute a Faux Pas! What’s next? Chanel Crocs? Blasphemy! I don’t care if you put a Chanel, YSL, Balmain, or whatever other high-end logo on Crocs or Clogs, or even Birkenstocks…they all are major no-nos for me! What was Karl thinking??? I am certain, Coco would not approve! A Paris Fashion Week post is coming soon, but in the meantime, I am curious to know what your opinion on these shoes is. Is it a do or a don’t in your books?

As in, “boo at this awful dress thing”! Sometimes Rihanna’s outfits inspire me, other times they leave me baffled. Like the one above. WTH? She’s in Paris for PARIS FASHION WEEK…and she’s wearing that? With all of the resources, with all of the designer stuff that she could pick and choose from, she chose to wear that??? I’m not sure if she was going for the “outrageous” look, but this just looks plain tacky (and not in a good way). And don’t even get me started on the yellow mess on her head. Cruella De Vil wants her hair back!

Friday Faux Pas: Stephanie Pratt’s Face

Today’s Friday Faux Pas comes courtesy of Stephanie Pratt’s face. If you are not a reality TV junkie, all you need to do is take a look at the pic above – the before and the after. Yes, that is the same person, and she is only 23. In my opinion, her “before” face was way cuter than her “after”. She now resembles a cross between a blow-fish and a blow-up doll – so not pretty! And the worst thing is that there are people in the blogosphere that are giving her props for doing this to her face, saying that she looks “more beautiful”. Well, if the definition of “more beautiful” is “more plastic-looking, with nothing unique or familiar left of her original face”, then yes…more beautiful. People suck!

Heather Graham has a great body! But this dress, this dress is trying too hard. If the fabric moves just a couple of inches, everyone and their grandma will be able to see what some of us really don’t want to see, and that is a pantiless Heather Graham in a ripped dress. I mean, even if that’s just nude lining, the whole suggestion of exposing your front and rear bits like this is all sorts of tacky? As I said, trying way too hard. And didn’t she play a stripper/hooker in The Hangover too? Still in character?

Wearable towel?

Would you buy a towel with arm openings and wear it around as a dress on the beach or to pick up your morning paper? I can’t decide whether this is a genius idea, or one of the worst faus pas ever. People at Wearable Towel obviously think that this thing is awesome!
