Sometimes I wonder if I should just rename this blog Diane Kruger Style Blog and call it a day. As much as I try to scale back on Diane photos, I can never resist – she’s just so damn stylish!
Anyway…here’s Diane and Pacey Joshua Jackson at a Prabal Gurung event in LA, looking impossibly cool and sexy. Love them, that is all. Basically, this post was just an excuse to publish yet another adorable photo of my fave Hollywood couple. Enjoy!

What is it about Coachella that makes me drool with envy? Is it the promise of hot desert sun, great bands, and fun fashion? That must be it.
This past weekend, a ton of celebs headed down to Indio, California, and brought their A-game, when it came to style. Katy Perry strutted around wearing a revealing Dolce and Gabbana two-piece, and a whimsical purse. Alexa Chung stuck to her signature style by donning a black and white Wednesday Addams mini dress, while Kate Bosworth looked amazing in a scalloped tank and shorts. My favourite Hollywood couple (Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson) also made an appearance, looking cute and stylish as always, as did Solange, in a pretty pink floral skirt.

It’s no secret that I adore Diane Kruger, so seeing my fave Style Fille on the cover of a Canadian mag really perked up my day. Thanks, Flare Magazine for this awesome shoot and cover. What a huge improvement in cover girl material too! Classy all the way.
Also, I now have an even HUGER (yes, I am making this a word) crush on Diane, seeing how she’s a cat lady, just like me. She even brought her cat Hobbes to her photo shoot. Adorable, non? Needless to say, I can’t wait to pick up this issue as soon as it hits the stands.

How does she do it??? Diane Kruger looks perfect almost every time she gets photographed, and this time is no exception. Diane wore a sultry Cushnie et Ochs gown to this week’s GQ Men of the Year Party (is Josh one of them?) and she paired it with simple hair, bold lip, and a gorgeous Jason Wu star-embellished box clutch. So chic, so modern, so perfect.

Toronto International Film Festival has come and gone, and though it’s been both exhausting and exhilarating, I can’t wait until next year’s film fun fest. But before we say good-bye to the films and the stars, here’s a look at just a few celebs that descended upon this city in all their stylish glory. From my fave style fille Diane Kruger, to glorious Monica Bellucci, to fresh-faced Emma Watson, to stunning Kristen Stewart, I had a great time going through the outfits, and choosing my faves!

As you might already know, stripes are my jam. I wear them to work, on the weekend, to events, and to bed…if I was only allowed to have one top for the rest of my life – in all likelihood, I would choose a striped tee - that’s how much I love stripes. So when I saw Nikki Reed in her stripe-alicious outfit, and then Diane Kruger in hers…both on the same day, I figured it was a stripe-off made in heaven. It’s Diane Kruger time, y’all! How amazing did she look in Paris recently? Those cool striped jeans, the embellished hat, and simple tee all amount to one flawless outfit…and yet she still looks like she just threw it all together in a minute. The woman is such a style inspiration!

How much do you love Diane Kruger’s outfit here? On a scale of 1 to 10, I think it’s a hard 11! That Versus dress…it actually looks classy on her, doesn’t it? With all the cut-outs and laces, it still looks 100% Diane and 100% chic. Imagine this same dress on some like Lindsay Lohan, and…well, you get the point.
Really excited to see what else Diane has up her sleeve for this year’s Cannes Film Festival. Hopefully Pacey Joshua joins her soon. I just love those two!
UPDATE: Just a few hours later, Diane wore this ethereal Giambattista Valli gown. Amazing, right? This woman, she really does make the best fashion choices.

I am not exactly sure if we’re going to see eye-to-eye on my Best Dressed picks from the Met’s Costume Institute Gala 2012. But here they come. My number one pick for Best Dressed is Giovanna Battaglia in a floral Dolce and Gabbana gown, topped off with a floral crown (my recent obsession). She looks breathtaking…and a little Frida-Kahlo-esque…and I love everything about her look.
Diane Kruger (in a floor-sweeping Prada number) can do no wrong in my eyes. She looks stunning, no? Interesting enough, but not crazy. I love the dress, the accessories, the hair and the makeup. Brava, Diane! Brava!
And then we have the yin to Diane’s yang. There’s something slightly off about this Miu Miu outfit that Chloe Sevigny has chosen for the Met Gala, and yes, it’s a little crazy, but I still love it. It’s the antithesis of boring. And while it might not be the classiest of getups, I kinda…not-so-secretly wish I could pull something like this off. So because of Chloe’s guts (or her stylist’s), I give this look two thumbs up.
Rooney Mara in Givenchy is another one of my Best Dressed picks, because I really love what she has going on here. The hair and makeup really suit the dress, and I like that she went easy on the jewels…or rather, went jewel-less. There’s something weird going on in the crotch area…but I am willing to shrug it off as a photo-mishap.
How gorgeous did Ginnifer Goodwin look in that Monique Lhuillier gown? So pretty, right? I wish she’d smile a little, and not look so annoyed and/or grim in photos. Come on, Ginny! It’s a ball! You have a pretty dress on! You’re dating an effing prince! Ok, not a real prince, but it still counts…I think. Either way, she’s still a fave of mine, and I love this dress (and the color) on her so much!

There are two Coachella weekends this year, so today’s celeb style round-up will focus on Weekend #1. I must say, comparing to the past few festivals, this year’s celeb sightings left me somewhat disappointed. The look on Pacey’s face above pretty much sums up my feelings about this year’s looks – one huge “meh”.
Apart from a few cute outfits (courtesy of Diane Kruger, Dree Hemingway, and Whitney Port), most celeb looks from Coachella 2012 were either too boring, too crazy, or plain stupid…looking. I must admit, I got zero summer outfit inspiration from this year’s Coachella-attending celebs. Zero. But perhaps you’ll feel otherwise.
