If you’ve always wondered what Louis Vuitton tastes like…you’re not alone. Swedish photographer Therese Aldgård and prop stylist Lisa Edsälv baked and styled these beauties, and don’t they just look good enough to eat?! I’m not a fan of cupcakes, though I think I might be the only one. I do love the esthetics of small cup-sized cakes and I do admit that they can be very, very cute! But to eat, I prefer real, big-ass cakes. Usually jammed with lots of stuff along with the usual batter and frosting. But for these, for these, I’d definitely make an exception! My favorite ones are the Agent Provocateur cupcakes. Don’t they remind you of little ta-tas?

Ok, so I am not loving what Christian Louboutin said about Barbie’s “fat ankles”, but I love the idea of the Louboutin designed collection of shoes for the doll! According to WWD, the collection consists of three dolls packaged in Louboutin shoe boxes, that come with four pairs of Barbie-size Louboutin heels. The three dolls will be released separately, the first to release in December, is the jewel thief-themed Barbie; in February, a safari-themed Barbie, and for May, Louboutin designed a Barbie that goes to the Cannes Film Festival. The dolls retail for $150 each and will be sold at BarbieCollector.com and at Net-a-porter.com, and in September, both sites also will offer a Christian Louboutin Barbie shoe collection of 12 pairs for $40 a set.
I haven’t played with Barbies for many years now, but I really like the jewel-thief Barbie. Plus, it looks like Louboutin had a great time at this shoot. Creative, no? And as a little spoiler, just wanted to let you guys know that this is not the last you’ll hear about Barbies on this site! Something exciting is happening tomorrow! Stay tuned!

To help you forget about today’s Faux Pas times two, I have some good style to showcase, courtesy of Lauren Conrad. Say what you will about Lauren’s talents, or lack of thereof, but the girl can dress! Unlike other reality TV starlets, she always looks classy and cute! Like her clothing line, her outfit choices are never groundbreaking, but very wearable for everyday life. Love how she paired a sexy Herve Leger skirt with a tough leather jacket. And the classic Chanel bag, don’t even get me started on it! Don’t you just wish you were getting $125,000 per reality TV show episode about chitchatting to your girlfriends about relationships, eating, partying, and shopping? Le sigh…
