Alberta Ferretti for Macy’s Impulse Lookbook

When I stumbled upon these lookbook photos from Alberta Ferretti’s collaboration with Macy’s Impulse…I pretty much squeeled with excitement. Set in Positano, Italy…these photos are the essence of what I hope my wedding getaway will feel (and look) like. I’d like to imagine that this entire lookbook was shot with my honeymoon in mind!

Everything in the Alberta Ferretti x Macy’s Impulse collection is priced between $49 and $119, and will be sold at 185 Macy’s locations across the US starting April 17.

With that said…me thinks a trip to Buffalo is in order. Who’s with me?

Milan Fashion Week Spring 2010

milan

It’s raining Fashion Weeks everywhere and I love it! Today I give you my faves from Milan’s Spring 2010 shows. My personal favorite so far is D&G! I think it’s all the camel-colored leather and denim shirts. The denim shirt tucked into the jeans look sort of reminds me of the JLo look from 2001. Remember the denim jumpsuits? I had one…looked so hot if I may so myself! Well, the Western look and Mickey Mouse tees are nothing new, but it works and I love it!

Overall, was not very impressed with Prada this time around, not coveting anything at all. The mod legginess of Versace, on the other hand…yes, please! Love the colorful raggedy dress from Moschino and shredded sweaters from Just Cavalli (much more appropriate for fall than spring, no?). Speaking of Cavalli, even “Bobby” had plenty of nude colors on the runway this time around. Time to invest in a light beige dress perhaps?
