Happy Valentine’s Day!

It’s no secret that Valentine’s Day is my favoritest holiday ever (no matter single or coupled up). And this year is no exception. I’m hoping that y’all are having a wonderful day too, full of love, laughter, and the best part of all – chocolates! Anyone have special plans for tonight? Romantic dinners, proposals, dancing till the break of dawn? Whatever you do, do it with lurve and style!

xoxos,

Nelia

Golden Globes 2011: Best Dressed

The moment I laid eyes on Kyra Sedgwick’s bohemian Emilio Pucci number, I was in marigold heaven. Adore the color, the ruffle detailing, the turquoise jewelry, and the simple hair and makeup. This look is perfect to remind me of the sunny days ahead! And therefore, Kyra is my best-dressed pick for this year’s Golden Globes. What about you? Did you like her dress? Who made your best-dressed list this year?

Taylor Swift for CoverGirl

Easy, Breezy, Beautiful – Taylor Swift! Following in the famous footsteps of Christie Brinkley, Tyra Banks, Molly Sims, Queen Latifah, Ellen DeGeneres, Rihanna, and Drew Barrymore, Swift was announced as the new face of the beauty brand CoverGirl!

According to the press release, the 20-year-old, Grammy award-winning star has just finished shooting her first advertisements for the beauty giant, and will represent a new line of luxury products for the brand.  The ads are scheduled to debut in January 2011.

“I am so excited to become the next CoverGirl,” said Swift.  “I have admired many of the CoverGirls since I was a little girl . . . great artists and actresses who are confident and still themselves.  It’s like a dream come true to be a part of the future of CoverGirl”.
