I am jumping for joy, because I get to invite my readers to the super-fun A-List party at ALDO’s beautiful Yorkdale store this coming Thursday, October 24th! There will be nibbles, yummy drinks, DJ beats, shoe discounts, and of course lots and lots of amazing shoes! I will be hosting the party and dancing the night away in my new Herveline over-the-knee boots, and will be giving away ALDO Gift Cards to the most stylish attendees (so make sure to bring you A-game).

But that’s not all…you will also be able to enter a crazy cool contest to host YOUR OWN A-List event! Help ALDO in their search to find the perfect A-List host, and you may just win an EXCLUSIVE shopping party just for you and your friends. All you have to do is tell us why you would make the best party host ever, and you will be entered into a chance to win your very own event. The host will receive an ALDO Gift Card, and everyone in attendance will get 20% off their purchase. Sweet, right? You’ll have the chance to make your shopping wishlist and ALDO will have the product ready for you and your friends to try on when you arrive (and so much more!).

Sounds amazing, non? Trust me, you don’t want to miss it! Don’t forget to RSVP HEREhttp://alist-yorkdale.eventbrite.ca, and I will see you all on Thursday!

Aldo continues to work on giving back to the community at large. Since Aldo has a global brand, they make sure to give back to many different countries, in unique ways. For example, they have been donating, since the 1980’s, to the YouthAids organization; this group helps to teach and keep kids protected from HIV/AIDS. Their campaign featured many celebrities, and branched out to more than a dozen countries.

Companies like Aldo, that dedicates their time to giving back to consumers, show that they not only care about the product, but the people that keep their business successful. Aldo recognizes that they owe a lot to their external publics, which are their customers. And they realize that consumers, as well as their employees, could be going through tough conditions.
