This is my outfit from Day 4 of Toronto Fashion Week (worn with a black Joe Fresh trench coat on top because it was bloody freezing). But my new pink skirt from Danier Leather’s OBJECT line is so worth a few goosebumps…am I right, or am I right? I also busted out my (also) new OBJECT clutch in neon green, which I simply adore and le bf heartily endorses. He actually told me that he likes it! (Which happens once in a…NEVER!) And last, but certainly not least…I wore a metal collar necklace from H&M. And I can’t tell you how many people asked me where I got it…but A LOT of people did.
So there you have it, folks…a little Canadian flare, mixed in with some low budget finds, and my future wedding shoes equals my fave outfit in a long while. Oh, and there’s peplum too!
What do you think? Let me know in the comments.

I Wore: Top, Belt – Forever21; Collar Necklace – H&M; Leather Skirt, Clutch – OBJECT by George Antonopoulos for Danier Leather; Shoes – Loeffler Randall; Sunglasses – Elizabeth and James (via Shopbop); Bracelets, Ring, Earrings – c/o Banana Republic

ARGH SO ADORABLE! This is probably my favourite outfit from you, too! Love the feminine silhouette and how you mixed high & low brands
And Kristy endorses that clutch, too!
Haha! Thanks, K! Would it be terrible to wear the same outfit to all of the events this spring? I think I might have to!
STUNNING!!!
Wow! What an outfit. Love this so much! The colour of that top is to die for.
What do you think of the peplum trend on someone — hmm, how shall I put it — whose mid-section is a problem area? Do you think it could work?
Thanks, Arianne! I actually think that the peplum part helps conceal tummy lumps. Also works great with pants! If you get some higher-rise trousers, they’ll help you keep that area smooth, while the peplum on top will give you further “coverage”. Good luck!
A colorful way to celebrate a first day of the Spring:)
Definitely my favourite outfit so far!!! Great look
