Friday Faux Pas: Montreal Canadiens 1912 Jerseys

montreal canadiens 1912

The only thing that made seeing the Leafs lose to the Montreal Canadiens last weekend a little less painful, was the fact that the Canadiens wore those god-awful barber shop striped retro jerseys from 1912! There is a reason why those uniforms only lasted for one year. And that reason is…they are plain ugly! They also seem to be mighty distracting, hence I put partial blame for the Leafs’ loss in that game on those jerseys! And yes, the Leafs might have had a pretty bad season so far, but at least their retro uniforms are cool, and don’t resemble something that an inmate would wear. Just saying.
