Sheena Matheiken is amazing! This girl vowed to wear the same black dress every single day for a year to raise funds for the Akanksha Foundation, which supports educational expenses (including uniforms) for slum children in India! It might not seem like a tough thing to do, but think about it, wearing the same thing every single day for an entire year…You’d have to be super creative!
Click here to check out The Uniform Project, donate money or accessories, and of course see how Sheena is changing up her little black dress every day for a great cause!
I must admit, when Stella McCartney first wore the lacy romper from her Resort 2010 collection to the Met gala, I hated it. Weeks later, although I still wouldn’t go as far as to say that I love it, I find this piece…interesting (perhaps because Anouck pulls it off better?). What I do love, is Stella’s Resort collection. Not every single piece, but this collection as a whole. Most pieces are so wearable, and while these clothes are still trendy, they are infinitely more classic than anything else I’ve seen hitting the runways lately.

They really should come up with a different name for this awesome gadget! If you’ve ever been in a crowded restaurant wearing a large purse, I know you’d appreciate this handy purse hook! Just hook it to any tabletop/bartop and let your purse hang! I’ve tried this out, and it can really hold even the heaviest of bags (I would know…since my bags usually weigh around 100lbs)! This one in particular folds nicely, so it won’t take up much space in your purse. Plus it will keep the bottom of you bag clean and dry, while saving the chair next to you for an actual person, not your purse!
You can find similar purse hooks at Indigo, on eBay and other online stores for anywhere from $4 to $20 in various styles, designs, and colors, some even custom-made!

No matter how amazingly cool these shoes look, they aren’t made for walking. These paper origami art pieces are made by a very talented French artist Mathieu Missiaen for his collaboration with Make a Paper World, and as far as I know, are not for sale. But say they were, would you buy a pair?
I think these Eva Mendes Calvin Klein Fall 2009 ads are way hotter than that Becks mess for Armani. Steamy, sexy, scorching hot! Steven Klein is the man once again!

Mark this on your calendar, ladies! November 14th is the launch date of the new Jimmy Choo collaboration with H&M! The collection will include shoes, accessories, clothes, and even some pieces for men! It’s getting better with every new team-up! Are you excited?

It takes a true fashionista to wear a studded Balmain-inspired vintage blazer to a CMA exam! While most candidates probably wore wrinkly pajamas they studied/slept in the night before, Joanna opted for a more stylish option. Love this blazer! Love the fact that it’s vintage even more! What a fabulous way to spice up an otherwise boring exam room! And CMA marks aside, she definitely gets an “A” on this blog!
